Welcome to the world little Jack Wade Brown, born April 25th and named after his great grandfather. Jack belongs to Kristi and Brandon Brown, Jan's cousin Toni's son and daughter-in-law. Congratulations Toni on being a first time grandmother - and thank you for the picture great grandma Bonnie! ;-) |
We enjoyed your visit this month, Daughter Erin! Sorry about the long walk but you did great and you look good taking a break amidst the iris! |
Lenny and IP, friends and co-workers of Jan's from way back, share some quality time at IP's home in Las Vegas. Sadly IP lost his battle with a very aggressive cancer on April 1. IP had much love and respect from all his friends and will be missed! Our hearts go out to his wife Gerry and his daughter Renee. Thank you for the nice picture Lenny. |
Annette and Ken with their tandum. Congratulations, Ken, on your great time in the Solvang Double Century of 11:07 - that was quite a feat! But even more impressive is your upcoming bicycle ride across America on April 23 - move over Lance Armstrong! You can follow Ken's progress across America on his website FDAlabelcompliance.com then click "Bike Ride" in the upper right column. Good luck Ken! |
Jan and George took a hike to Feather Falls, the sixth highest waterfall in the United States (640 feet). It is located on a tributary of the Middle Fork Feather River, in Plumas National Forest in Butte County. Pack a lunch and have a picnic on the deck overlooking the falls - it is well worth the seven mile trek! |
Hidden Falls is located in Hidden Falls Regional Park which was opened to the public on October 30, 2006. The park is located between Auburn and Lincoln. Some of the neat features at Hidden Falls include Coon Creek and Deadman Creek, groves of blue oak woodlands and the year-round 20-30 foot waterfall (the highlight of the hike). George rests with the NC hiking group just above the falls. Krystyna, our hike leader, led us on the 7 mile tour around the beautiful park! |
